Jordan Spieth aces the second hole at Bay Hill
The Jordan Spieth rebound story proceeds with this week at Bay Hill Club and Lodge.
Also, it continues to improve. Making his Arnold Palmer Invitational presentation, Spieth aced the standard 3, 223-yard second opening.
With a ball speed of 139 miles each hour and a zenith of 69 feet, his 5-iron at one of the 50 hardest openings on the PGA Tour keep going season arrived on the front right edge of the periphery, kicked left and folded somewhere in the range of 50 feet directly into the core of the opening.
Spieth high-fived caddie Michael Greller and thumped knuckles with contender Justin Rose.

"I was attempting to strip it left to option to hold the breeze and land it somewhat right of the opening," Spieth said. "I hit it somewhat slim yet it was directly on the line I needed and realizing that the grass was wet, you get some pallet, I thought noticeable all around it would have been very acceptable. Surely not on par with what it was. However, I simply needed sort of one jump, since I just mishit it somewhat, and a great deal of times those are the ones that that occurs, your ideal shots don't go in, yet then now and then the ones where it's unforeseen. Along these lines, that was cool. That was clearly a truly cool second."
Cool, in reality. It had been a long time since anybody had made an opening in-one at the second opening at Bay Hill during the competition and was only the fifth pro at the opening since 1979. For Spieth, it denoted his third pro on Tour.
